Improv for Tweens - Intro to Scene Work

This one and half hour workshop teaches kids ages 11-14 the fundamentals of long form improv comedy and stage craft. Starting with games focused on agreement, listening, and characters, we will work towards creating scenes. Participants will be introduced to basic scene structure by exploring physical movement and emotional expression, ultimately working their creative thinking and team building muscles. Expect lots of laughs and a creative afternoon! 

Sarah Frasco has studied and preformed improv for over a decade. A graduate of The Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago, and The Annoyance, Sarah has performed Improv in theaters around the world including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Sarah has also worked with kids, coaching improv workshops and theater basics. 

Note: Every participant is required to have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian on the day of the event.
